WITH NATUROPATH NIKIITA JACKSON

Welcome to this series where I (Kirsty Holmes) talk to Nikiita Jackson, where we dive into the importance of understanding your hormonal health as a woman! Balancing your hormones is important for many aspects of your physical, mental and emotional health, and an underlying hormonal imbalance can be a big factor to some of your struggles with your body.

Nikiita Jackson is a Naturopath who is passionate about women’s health, after struggling for years with hormonal imbalance from taking the contraceptive pill. She is now passionate about helping women to balance their hormones and reclaim their health.

INTRODUCTION AND OUR STORIES

Nikiita takes us through understanding what hormones actually are, and how they interact in our bodies. We also share our own stories about our challenges with hormones, and how working on balancing them has impacted our lives so dramatically.

THE REPRODUCTIVE HORMONES

Think you only need to know about your reproductive hormones for pregnancy or contraception? Think again! Your reproductive hormones play a huge role in your energy, mental state, body composition and overall health. This video will help you understand which reproductive hormones impact women’s health the most and what you can do to help balance them.

THE ADRENAL AND THYROID HORMONES

Many women only know about the reproductive organs when they think of hormones. However, there is also a connection between your hormonal health and wellbeing and the health of your adrenal and thyroid glands as well. These are affected by many factors, the main one being the stress you place your body under (physically, mentally and emotionally). This video will help you understand your adrenals and your thyroid and how you can work on this aspect of your hormonal health as well.

THE SEASONS OF THE MENSTRUAL CYCLE

A woman’s menstrual cycle is very misunderstood. It plays a role in changes in strength, moods, energy and recovery every month, but many women have never been taught about these fluctuations. Nikiita takes us through a simple way to think of your cycle, so that you can work with your hormones, rather than against them! If your cycle isn’t reflecting this pattern, it could be a sign of a hormonal imbalance.

Are you struggling with your hormones, or an underlying issue that is affecting your health and wellbeing?
