How to Add a Custom Meal to Myfitnesspal

Here is how you can save a meal that you eat frequently in Myfitnesspal for easy access.

This option is great if you don’t want to save a Recipe (click here to find out how to add a Recipe) or save it as one unit in the My Foods section (click here to find out how to add a My Foods).


Step One:
Tap “Add Food” on one of your meal selections (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner etc)

Step Two:
Select “My Meals” from the menu at the top of the page, under the search bar.

Step Three:
Select “Create a Meal”

Step Four:
Input the name of the meal (you can also add a photo if you wish) then click “Add items to this meal”

Step Five:

Find and select foods that make up the meal.

Step Six:
Save the Meal, and it will now be in your own database under “My Meals” that you can add at any time. You can also alter the foods in the Meal at anytime if you want to change it, or save a basic Meal that you add extra ingredients to.
