Beginner Gym Strength Workout

This workout is a great first timers workout to do in the gym, it uses minimal equipment, but will also get you started with the basic movement patterns to build up your confidence!

Make sure to bring your towel and water bottle, and warm up first with some Dynamic Stretches.

1. Sit to Stand Squat

3 x 10 repetitions

60 seconds rest in between

2. Dumbbell Chest Press

3 x 10 repetitions

60 seconds rest in between

3. Hip Thrust on Bench (with Band)

3 x 10 repetitions

60 seconds rest in between

4. One Arm Row

3 x 10 repetitions each

60 seconds rest in between

5. Reverse Lunge

3 x 10 repetitions each

60 seconds rest in between

6. Seated Shoulder Press

3 x 10 repetitions

60 seconds rest in between

7. Deadbug Hold

3 x 30 seconds

15 seconds rest

Make sure to Cool Down with some static stretches afterwards!
